We represented a national political party in breach of contract litigation against Houston First Corporation after the cancellation of the June 2020 convention due to COVID-19 concerns. The dispute centered on the interpretation of the force majeure clause. Although the trial court initially ruled against our client before we took over the case, we successfully won a unanimous decision on appeal and secured a settlement for nearly the full amount of damages.
