John relishes working with clients to develop and implement solutions to their problems. Whether they need pre-litigation, trial, or appellate counsel, John stands ready to provide his expertise.

Born outside Dayton, Ohio, John earned his master’s and law degrees from The  Ohio State University. During law school, John gained practical legal experience working for a state agency, a major city attorney’s office, the Supreme Court of Ohio, and a non-profit law firm. He also served as a journal editor and became recognized as one of the nation’s top competitors in appellate advocacy.

John’s skillful advocacy is what brought him to Texas. His performance in the Moot Court National Championship in law school led to a job offer from a Houston litigation boutique. John accepted the offer, moved to Houston, and worked as an associate for four years before joining Mitby Pacholder Johnson PLLC.

John lives in Missouri City with his wife, two daughters, and pets. In his free time, John likes spending time with his family, playing guitar, stargazing, snowboarding, and restoring cars.
