Amberley Ross

Associate
Amberley handles all stages of civil lawsuits — from investigation and discovery to motions, depositions, and trial preparation.

Prior to joining the firm, Amberley served as Assistant General Counsel and Health Care Compliance Officer for the University of Houston System, where she advised senior leadership on regulatory compliance, institutional risk, and legal strategy across a multi-campus public university system.

In that role, Amberley served as the primary legal advisor on complex regulatory, compliance, and institutional risk matters affecting all health care operations within the system, including university-affiliated clinical, research, and academic activities. She worked closely with internal stakeholders to evaluate legal exposure and develop strategies to ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws.

Amberley has experience leading sensitive internal investigations involving privacy breaches, billing compliance concerns, and adverse events. She has conducted legal risk assessments and developed corrective action plans designed to mitigate potential litigation and regulatory scrutiny.
